Venue External catering Terms & Conditions

  •   External Caterer will have access to the venue for the duration of the event. Deliveries the day before should be communicated clearly and arranged. Any times outside of the event times should be arranged with the event coordinator. Please be advised that exceeding the timeframe will be charged as extra hours @R 2 000 per hour. (Times may vary according to the Gazetted national curfew times)
  •   The kitchen is available for warming up only, no food preparation is to be done on the premises unless approved in writing by management. No oven available.
  •   All food and equipment (not supplied by Avenue on Iris) must be removed directly after the function.
  •   Avenue on Iris shall not be liable for any items lost after the function.
  •   The service provider, sub-contractor, an employee of a service provider, and or subcontractor entering the premises takes full responsibility for his or her safety and the minors and or employees accompanied by them, including medical care and emergency assistance. Only kitchen staff, employees of AOI, and a barman is allowed entry to the kitchen. No children are allowed and no crowding of guests in the cold room.
  •   Avenue on Iris will not be held liable for interruptions of any services, e.g. water, electricity, sanitation, etc.
  •   Avenue on Iris expects caterers to clean their working stations and the floor after they are finished.
  •   Please note that the caterer has to provide: their food certificate, their staff, and utensils for serving food. Any additionals will be deducted from the refundable deposit.
  •   NB: R2000 Refundable breakage deposit will be added and refunded within 10 working days of the function. Third-party Supplier; Duly authorized
